Welcome to the wonderful and weird world of Lucy Ducker. Here you will find visions of the expected as the unexpected: animals, water beasts and insects re-imagined from your most surreal dreams into a kaleidoscope of colour.
Eager to gain a solid knowledge to be able to make anything her heart desired, Lucy studied Technical Effects for Performance, a theatre-based design and making course. From London College of Fashion, Lucy went onto forge her career working predominantly as a prop, costume, set and puppet maker for companies such as the British Museum, Punchdrunk, Greenpeace, BBC and the Royal Opera House.
After spending much of her adult life in London, Lucy returned to Norfolk. Fuelled by her wild imagination and inspired by her love of nature, she found her artistic practice developed to weave stories into drawings, revisiting worlds about which she fantasised about in her younger years.
Lucy lives in Norwich and is a qualified youth worker and freelance arts facilitator.
